[globalsouthdata] Report: workshop IEEE

Dear partners,

I hope this finds you well.

Last week, on September 27th, we had the chance to participate in the
workshop about IEEE standards and ways to engage with this technical
organization.

It was a pretty good moment of discussion between us, NGOs from the Global
South, and professor Prestes, who has excellent expertise within the
technical standards field.

Aiming to synthesize this discussion, we prepared a short report (attached)
highlighting some topics and takeaways from the session.
