[globalsouthdata] Happy new year and strategic agendas for the next weeks

First of all, on behalf of the Data Privacy team, we would like to send
good vibes and best wishes for 2023. May it be a year of fruitful work and
progress for the Global South!

As a first new year´s communication, we would like to reinforce the
invitation for everyone to share common agendas or any other type of
information, considering here an open space for Global South articulation
in datafication and democracy issues.

Another opportunity that is calling our attention is the submission to the UN's
Global Digital Compact <https://www.un.org/techenvoy/global-digital-compact>,
which runs until March 31st

like to participate, let's think about joint submissions!
