From louise at dataprivacybr.org Tue Feb 4 09:42:27 2025 From: louise at dataprivacybr.org (Louise Karczeski) Date: Tue, 4 Feb 2025 09:42:27 -0300 Subject: [globalsouthdata] Call for Abstracts - T20 SA Message-ID: Hello everyone, This year, Data Privacy Brasil is part of the T20 task force on digital transformation, led by the South African government. The T20 is one of the G20?s engagement groups. One of the roles of the T20 is to serve as a hub for ideas and policy briefs, which are selected by research institutions participating in the subtracks. *Until February 10th, institutions interested in submitting policy papers must present a short summary of 350 words*. In March, the summaries will be accepted, and the final papers should be developed with a maximum length of 1,500 words. Among the priority topics of the task force are papers and new ideas on connectivity (significant connectivity indicators and people-centered approaches), digital public infrastructures, and the regulation of emerging technologies (including strategies for promoting the common good and AI regulation). If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at Data Privacy Brasil. I am sharing here (1) the Task force 2 from T20 South Africa concept note and (2) the call for abstracts. I appreciate your help in sharing this with academics and research centers! -- *Louise Karczeski* Pesquisadora: Governan?a e Regula??o Researcher: Governance and Regulation +55 48 998218668 Linkedin -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
