The Agency now has six Superintendencies: Executive Superintendency, Superintendency of Technological Innovation, Superintendency of Regulation, Superintendency of Inspection, Superintendency of Institutional and International Relations, and Superintendency of Internal Management. An Audit unit will also be part of the new ANPD structure, a long-standing request of the Agency that was fulfilled with Law No. 15,352/2026. The new structure was approved by the Board of Directors through Resolution No. 33, of April 6, 2026, which comes into force together with Decree No. 12,881, of 2026. The rapporteur of the matter, Director Lorena Giuberti Coutinho, highlights: “the new institutional structure combines specialization and articulation, fundamental elements to strengthen the protection of personal data and increase the safety of children and adolescents in the digital environment.”</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">With its transformation into a regulatory agency, the ANPD (National Data Protection Authority) will have its own career path: Specialist in Personal Data Regulation.
